Unless, of course, this low carbohydrate hamburger salad is good for you. Homemade keto Fast food is an excellent choice, if you ask me.

 

HOW TO MAKE A KETO BIG MAC SALAD

  • First, collect ingredients for your salad.
  • Get the brown ground beef. I use this Le Creuset Tarte Tatin Pan.
  • While ground brown beef, collect the sauces. Start by mixing mustard, Mayo, and vinegar.
  • Dice the onion and pickles to be added to the sauce.
  • Season beef milled.
  • Assemble a Big Mac salad. Start with lettuce at the bottom. Add cheese, then add ground beef. Top with onions and pickles. Put the sauce in.

At this point, you can throw a salad (as in, MIX it, don’t throw it into a clear trash!) or keep it like this for a while. Since dressing sits on top, it won’t make your lettuce all wet and wither.

Full disclosure–I used to have McDonalds (R) as a client. But they didn’t give me their secret recipe 🙂

So I have no real idea of what is in McDonald’s Sauce Recipe. But I can tell you that whatever I’m together with the stone tastes exactly like McDonald’s secret sauce!

IS BIG MAC SAUCE THE SAME AS THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING?

I know many people wonder if the McDonald’s Big Mac sauce is exactly like a thousand island dressing.

Based on my experiments, I don’t think of it. This Keto Big Mac Sauce has much less material than a thousand islands, which is good. Less is better as far as I’m worried.

 

WHAT DOES THIS LOW CARB HAMBURGER SALAD TASTE LIKE?

Like a big Mac.

No, really! It! It’s been so long since I had a Big Mac that I asked my friend to taste the test. And then, hundreds and hundreds of people make it and they all agree – it feels like Big Macs.

I mean, what’s not love? Not only does it taste like Big Macs, but it’s homemade, low-carbohydrate, keto-and best of all, a variety of components can be made first.

Whenever you can have a homemade meal that is essentially like a fast-food keto-I vote for it.

 

CAN I FREEZE THIS SALAD?

No, you can not. Lettuce that will only really die if you do that. You can, however, make the meat and sauce ahead of time.

Dressing will continue for a week in your refrigerator if you cover it well.

 

MASON JAR BIG MAC SALAD

I ate this salad straight out of the fridge. You’d think cold beef wouldn’t taste good, right?

That’s best. So one thing you can do is turn this low carbohydrate Big Mac salad into a Mason jar salad and take it for lunch.

Then, when you’re ready for your Big Mac keto, either shake a good jar, or just tip everything into a bowl and enjoy.

TIPS FOR MAKING BIG MAC SALAD

  • The sauce will continue for at least one week in the fridge making it Double-or Quadruple! Not only gets better with time, but it also works well with a variety of salads and grilled meats. Great for dipping grilled chicken too.
  • Use lean beef for this so you don’t have an oily mess in your salad.
  • I used plain yellow mustard for this.
  • You can make a layered salad in a Mason jar, and bring it to the workplace.

Big Mac Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon (1 tablespoon) White Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon (1 tablespoon) onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons (1 teaspoons) Swerve
  • 4 tsp (4 tsp) Prepared Mustard
  • 2 tbsp (2 tbsp) Dill Pickles
  • 3/4 cup (224 g) Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

Salad

  • 1 tsp (1 tsp) Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 lb (453.59 g) Lean Ground Beef
  • 4 cups (288 g) chopped iceberg lettuce
  • ½ cup (80 g) Sliced Onions, cut in half
  • 1/4 cup (35.75 g) Dill Pickles
  • 1 tsp (1 tsp) Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup (113 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Make a dressing. Mix Mayo, diced pickles, mustard, vinegar, onions, paprika, and Melive. Set aside as you get other ingredients together. Set aside as you get other ingredients together.
  2. Heat a 10-inch stir-fry pan over medium heat. Add the beef, destroy it to break the blob, and cook until it is almost cooked through. Add salt and pepper and finish cooking along the way.
  3. While the ground beef browned, chopped lettuce. Slice the onion and then cut it in half. Rough chop pickles.
  4. When you are ready to serve salads, mix lettuce, onion, pickles, and cheese. Put in four bowls. Add in 1/4 of the ground beef mixture into each bowl. Drizzle by dressing and serve immediately.
